Full Moon Chapter Six

"No!!!No!! Stop!" screamed Moon. He's twitching on his bed. Trying to get out of all the maid's grip. "Clarisse! Bring me hot towel! Now!" shouted Giselle, holding her son's chest. Moon's face turned a shade of white. "Wake up Moon! Wake UP!" shouted Giselle.

Moon open his eyes by force. His bloodshot eyes looked around at everyone. He tried to speak but no words come out from his dried mouth. His mother, Giselle, placed the hot towel on his forehead. He closed his eyes for a minute or two. He opened them again. Looking tired, with his hair all messed up, he sat up and took a drink of ginger ale offered from the butler beside him.

"What happen?" asked Moon. He realize that his voice has change to hoarse voice. For once, it sounded like his father. "You fainted in the bathroom. I was downstairs when I heard your screams. When I got up, your door was lock. I had to call Charles to slam the door." said Giselle, pointing at the door. Moon looked at the direction his mother was pointing.

Indeed, the door was on the floor. At the side of the lock was those of the chipped wood. He look around for Charles the butler, just to call him to get the door fixed as soon as possible. "What happen, son?" continue Giselle. "Why are you screaming?"

Moon looked pale. He started to look at his glass of ginger ale. The water just twirl and twirl. "I had a nightmare.." he started. Paused. He stopped. He looked at the clock. It shows 19:35 p.m. "Did I fell or something? I remember I was suppose to be bathing and it's morning." said Moon, massaging his head. "When we rush up to see you sir, you were lying in the bathtub drowning, just like some force pulling you in. We had to pull you out. You were drowning." said one butler from across the room. It was Michael, head butler.

"When we pulled you out, you were twitching and screaming." said Clarisse, changing the water from the bucket for the towel on Moon's forehead. "Son, what is the nightmare about?" said Giselle, rubbing Moon's forehead. She realize that he is gazing emptily out to the dark sky.

Oh Moon, why can't you tell your own mother what is in your mind? thought Giselle.

She stood up, ordered the rest of the maids and butlers to clear the room and let her son to rest. "Rest well, son." said Giselle and started to walk towards the door. "Mother, wait.." said Moon. "I'll fix the door." said Giselle. She lifted her right hand and pointed at the broken down door. Immediately, the broken pieces flew up and the door was fixed. Hinges was repaired. "Thanks, Mother." said Moon and closed his eyes. "I wish for once you would call me mummy instead of just mother." said Giselle and she walk off with her door close behind her.

Tonight. Cold and damp. It rained during the afternoon. A lot of things these past few days. Especially to Moon thought Giselle silently. As she walked through the hallway, the room lit with a shade of orange light from somewhere near the corner of the hall. I can sense her anywhere near even if death took my old soul away.

She open the door to her bedroom. The whole room is covered with rice yellow wallpaper with candle lit room. The ceiling is made out of glass so that the clear dark sky is seen. She walk towards her bookshelf and took a black book, covered in dust. Giselle carried it towards her table and flipped it through a few pages, scrolling through hundreds of words. "Aha! I knew it!" said Giselle.

She slam the book tight, gather ten black candles and walk towards the center of her room. She place the five candles, making a circular shape and lit them. she then sit outside the circle and make a continuous chant. Smoke started to come out from the middle of the circle. As she chanted more loudly, a voice behind her ears sounded.

"Hello, Giselle. Long time no see." said the voice.

"YOU!"

Full Moon Chapter Five

Breath Moon..Breathe..You're still inside there..Breathe..

He open his eyes. The dark shade of black brown eyes searching around the room. His breathing turns from rapid to slow and weak. He sat on the bed, hands reaching out towards the glass of water near his bedside table. Moon was sweating from his forehead to his chin. Eyes still felt the burn that has run through all over his body. I am not going to lose my temper. Not now not ever thought Moon.

He walked towards the window and pull the curtains open. "It certainly is a bright clear sky today." said Moon to himself. He went to his bathroom and took off his clothes showing off his full tanned body with muscles and a long scar at the back. He touched the scar behind his back. This is what is left of me thought Moon. He looked at the mirror, starring at himself. Then he walks to the bathtub and turn on the showers, wearing nothing but a towel, wrapped around his waist.

He then took away the towel and climb in the bathtub, filled with warm water. Leaning against the freezing side of the bathtub, he looked around. "Mother really have to decorate the bathroom like this." said Moon to himself. He rest his head on the top of the bathtub, slowly he doze off..

***

Where am I?
Where is this place?
Why is it so bright?

He opens his eyes slowly. He wasn't in his bathroom anymore. Yet, he is in a small squared room filled with well lit candles. There she was! The girl in white. Why is she here? Hey! He walks towards the girl.

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed. The scene changed to a small bedroom with wooden floors and a small table in the middle, and on the table lies two plates and two set of fork and spoon. Moon was standing next to the entrance door. A tall, fat women walks in the room, screaming in a very heavy french accent "LYZETTE!!! Where iz my food? Hurry up and bring it to me!" A girl about Moon's age walks in the room, carrying a roast turkey and a glass of rum. Her emerald green eyes are no more filled with color. Instead, it filled with fear and tears. Her hands are bruised and her dark green hair isn't as tidy as before.

"Here you go, Mother" said Lysette, her head down. For a minute there, Moon notice that she is smiling at him. Maybe I'm imagining things thought Moon. " What took yew zo long to make me zis zinner? zhere iz no way yew will getz any zinner yourzelf from me again. Yew will have to stay at zhe underground room like the rezt of yew zirty ratz. Living in a country where vampires existed. I never!" said the women while chewing her roasted turkey.

Moon flares. His eyes turned a shade of red. But the girl keep on standing there looking at her mother chewing the juicy turkey meat of the bones. Lysette then slowly walks away the dining table and walks towards the fireplace. She grabs the poker to poke the firewood to make the flames more hot so that it can lit the room and make the room filled with warmth.

"Girl! What ta yew zoing? Get back zownzairs!" the fat women chew more big pieces from the turkey and drank a few slurps from the rum. Suddenly she starts to choke. Coughing all the turkey pieces out. Lysette continue poking the wood with the poker. The women coughed until her face turns bright red. She starts to fall on her knees, hands holding the side of the dining table. She tried to called Lysette to help, but Lysette pretended like it was nothing.

When the fat women lay flat on the ground, twitching while holding her throat, Lysette turned. Her eyes is as black as the sea water in the dark. She lifted up her left hands. So is the women. She started to throw the women to the side of the house with an invisible force. The big rumble makes the whole house shake. She then lifted her hands again and throw the fat women to another side of the house. The house shaken again but this time the walls cracked. What happen? How is this possible? thought Moon. He tried to move to stop Lysette from hurting her mother, but he can't move. It's like a force just pull him back. A strong force.

Lysette smiled. Moon was shocked. It was the girl in white! thought Moon. Lysette lifted her left hand up again, and so is the women. "You know you really annoy me!" said Lysette to the women. Lysette's eyes is no longer on the women but on Moon. She smiled and lip sync "Now, you know."

No! No!
This can't be happening!
No!

Full Moon Chapter Four

"Good morning, Master. Mistress has ordered me to bring breakfast to you." said the maid while knocking on the door of Moon's room. *click* The door to Moon's bedroom was not locked. The maid went in without hesitation, hoping that her master would not be mad at her for entering without permission.

She can't remember the last time she enter that particular room. The carpeted floor are the same carpeted floor she saw fifteen years ago. It is still clean until today. She sat the tray of breakfast down on the study table and walk towards the four posters bed. Her hand move smoothly along side of the bed. Her palm touches the soft mattress. Her fingertips touch every surface of the cupboard next to the bed. Her eyes drop on to a photograph. A photograph of Tyler and Moon in their early teens. They first victory in mountain expedition. They were so happy she thought. Her fingertips run through Tyler's face.

"Tyler.." whispered the maid. Slowly, she moved towards the window sill, while keeping an eye out at the door, just in case Moon comes back. She sat on the window pane and hum her song. She hums and hums. Her fingers moved slowly on the side of the window. Tapping as she hums. She uses her index finger to push a little bit of the curtain so that she could bring the sun into the damp room.

Looking outside at the bright clear blue skies, the gardener is already starting on his gardening work. The neighbor is mowing their own lawn. "If I wasn't on duty that night, I would've save Tyler.." whisper the maid again.

The door burst open. Moon walked in in a hasty pace, staring at the maid. Looking at the maid in an outrage way. His eyes turned bright red. "Why are you here! Get out! Who allow you to come in here! Get out!" shouted Moon. The maid stood up hastily. "I'm..I'm..sss...sorry.." said the maid, apologetically.

The maid started to walk towards the door. But Moon stopped her with his left arm reaching out just above her neck. "How do you know how to hum that song?" asked Moon.

"It was a memory.. From Tyler to me." said the maid and she walk off, while closing the door behind her.

Full Moon Chapter Three

The rain started to pour heavily as both of them sit at the tombstone. The girl was silent. Moon was in shock. She killed her own mother! How was that..

"Possible?" said the girl. Moon jumped and looked at her. "You read my mind.." Moon said. She didn't answer him but just spread a smile. That smile again. But that smile is different now. It gives him the shivers. The shivers that he could never forget. The same shivers when he attended his twin's funeral..

It was that day. The same day I got my Degree in Medicine..

Tyler. He died. He left the world without telling me he would. I watch him died.. I watch him kill himself. In the same room I'm staying now. It felt like it was just yesterday we went on a mountain climbing expedition. He is good at climbing mountains. I'm not as athletic as he is. Mother always loved him more than me. Although I'm the youngest. People say "Youngest are always filled with love." I don't feel that way..

Mother was depressed. Crying every night after he died. Even Father looked up to him. I was the neglected one..I did not cried. Men don't cry.. they don't..they don't..

"Why?" the girl said suddenly. Moon startled.

"Why what?" Moon said, looking at the girl.

"Why did your brother suicide?" said the girl. Moon looked at the girl with his brows raised.
"He suicide because he can't take the fact that he is a.."

"Vampire?"interrupted the girl. Moon startled again. This time he looked at the girl. His eyes met hers.
How did she know that.. thought Moon. The sun has risen up. It was already dawn. Moon looked up at the sky to see clear blue sky after the heavy rain. "I have to go" said Moon when he looked down.

The girl. She was gone. "Hello!!" shouted Moon. That's weird. Where has she gone? thought Moon.

He walked to his car and found the keys in his pockets. He start up the engine and looked at the same tombstone he and the girl were seated. Soaked in the rain water, hair all damp, he reach to his gear and notice something.

A black rose.

On the black rose was a note:

Thank you. For accompanying me. If there is faith, we shall meet.

Full Moon Chapter Two

She's smiling at me.
Wow, that's the most beautiful smile I ever seen.
Who is she? No.. No.. Don't go. Don't go. Stop!

He opens his eyes with a sudden shock. He searched around the room, hoping to find a light somewhere in the distance to lit up his worn down room. He glanced at his alarm clock. It shows 3am. Drops of sweats are all over his forehead and chest.

Whoa, that's strange. He thought. He walked to his wardrobe and opened the wardrobe door. He then took out a white long sleeve CK jacket and a black canvas long trousers. I gotta get out of here thought Moon. He then walked to his table and grab his wallet and keys. He then open the door to the hallway and quickly sneak out of his room to the stairs.

As he walk through the hallway, he felt it. The goosebumps. Everyone is sleeping soundly and yet I'm here. Awake. That's the strangest dream he thought. The silence of the dark hall give him the shivers. Shivers he had since he was young when he thought that bogyman is there in the closet. He then went down the stairs and to the garage. He pressed his car alarm and quickly climb in his '86 Black Porsche.

***

He drove around the silent neighborhood with the wind blowing onto his black shoulder length hair. Moon does not know where to go but to drive straight all the way to the end. His fingers tapping on the steering wheel with the CD player playing the song Remedy by Seether. He looked around for any 24 hours joint. Teenagers are out in their cars driving around and making mischief.

"What am I doing? It's 4 a.m in the morning and I'm not sleeping. GOD!" he shouted. Something caught his attention as he went pass Hillside Cemetery. That girl. She looks familiar he thought. Then it came to him. The girl he saw earlier in the evening. "Why is she here in the cemetery, all alone?" he whisper.

Curiosity kills. Moon is eager to see her. She is so beautiful. I had to see. I had to see what she is up to he thought. With that thought, Moon stopped his car at a nearby tree. The tree was tall and dark. That way, Moon could not be seen. He slowly walk in a very slow pace. Slower than the shadows that creep through the walls of the tombs nearby.

Silently, he creep through the bushes, eyes on the girl that caught his attention. He finally stop at a distance where he could actually see the girl's face. "Wow!" he whispered and slowly he tried to push the little twigs of his sleeves and walk nearer to get a clear look. Cracks of twigs sounded as he walk through the bushes. It was half past 4 a.m. He manage to get a spot so that he could see clearly what the girl is attempted on doing.

"Daddy, I came to see you." she said while touching the tombstone. "I have a lot of things I wanted to say to you but I couldn't because you're not here anymore." she sob.

"Poor girl." he whispered.
"I know you're there." said the girl in white. "Come out now. It's ok, I won't bite."

Moon jumped and shock to hear this from her mouth. Slowly, he walk out of the shadows and into a perfectly moonlit spot where the girl can see him. "Why are you here?" said the girl. "I saw you earlier in the evening near my house. You were dancing in front of my yard." Moon said, shrugging. He comb his hair with his hand and look other ways except the girl. Eventually, she noticed it and said "Sit here." She put her hand beside the tombstone and smile.

The smile! thought Moon. Slowly, he walk over to her and stared into her beautiful emerald green eyes.

"You know why I'm here at this hour?"
"No, I was wondering when I drive through here.."
"Are you curious or you just want to see me?"
"Ermmmm..." Moon blushed.

Moon looked at the girl. She is really magnificent he thought. Her features. Her eyes. Her hair. Her skin. She is beautiful he thought.

"This is my dad." the girl started. "He died because my mum killed him. At this hour. 4 .30 a.m in the morning. He was sleeping in his bed because of the amount of medicine he took. He was sick to the bones. My mum cut his head off with an axe while he is asleep. I wasn't there during that time because I was in England. When I came back, I found out that my dad is dead. I tried to report to the police but mum lock me in the basement." She end her story with a sigh.

"What happen to your mum then?" asked Moon.

"I killed her.."

Full Moon Chapter One

Rain pouring heavily, thumping on the glass window pane. A finger ran down the silhouetted glass fill with the mist of the cold air. His finger slowly wiped off tiny drops of rain that is coming out from his ceiling to his window. There he sat. Lonely and unwanted. Father went on a trip again he thought.

As the rain pour more and more heavily, there was a knock on the door. There goes the knock. Thump Thump Thump. He give a glanced at the garnished, dark brown, pine wood doors. Must be the maid mother sent I suppose he thought. He stood up, look out at the wet garden that used to be green and started to walk towards the doors.

Opening the door, there she was. Standing there with her head tipped down like a little small puppy that did something wrong.

"Why are you here? I told mother not to send food to my room anymore, don't you understand? " he said with a glance at the girl and turned back at his room, leaving the poor little maid standing in front of his room, the doors ajar, not fully closed.

"But Mistress Giselle said..to..to..to..bring food..to you, Master Moon." she tipped her head slightly and took a peep through the wooden door. What she see through the wooden doors are but a shock of her life. She dare not see. She dare not ask nor speak to him but only placing the tray of the night's dinner for him on the floor, in front of his room and silently walked away.

***

He placed his head against the cold glassed window. It is so cold tonight. Cold as death he thought. Moon looked through the foggy window pane and to his surprise, saw a girl. A girl about his age mid 20s perhaps or probably younger, standing in the rain with her head held up high and her arms spread wide, twirling around like a swan, wearing not a sleeping gown but a white dress soak with rain water. Her skin is as fair as a little tiny toddler. She smiled the most beautiful smiled in the world. Her hair was the shade of dark green. Moon raised his head when he see the girl had fallen down on the muddy path while twirling around. But as soon as he stood up, wanting to help the girl, she smiled all by herself and start to stand up by her own.

"What a strange girl. Why is she smiling? The rain is so heavy and yet she is as happy as a hummingbird although she is all wet" he said to himself and with that he went to sleep with the most beautiful smile that he will never forget.
